The MR -482X 2.5Gbps receiver is designed for use in transmission system and high-speed data communication applications. The receiver operates at the SONET OC-48 rate, as well as the ITU-T SDH rate of STM-16.
The receiver meets all present telecordia technologies GR-253CORE requirements and ITU-T G.957 and G.958 recommendations. They are ideally suited for extended-distance data and networking applications
The receiver consists of an InGaAs APD photodiode, a transimpedance amplifier, a limiting amplifier and clock and data recovery IC (CDR). The receiver converts received optical signals in the range of 1100 nm to 1650nm wavelengths into differential data and clock output. The receiver requires a single +5V/3.3V power supply. The data & clock output is AC-coupled PECL, the loss of input power out is TTL. The receiver also gives an analog output to indicate the strength of input optical power. |
